  19. % This file is an adaptation of FidoNets FILEBONE.NA.  This file is sent out 
  20. % periodically in the BN_FileN file area.  This list contains only 
  21. % information on the File Distribution Echoes.  For more information about 
  22. % the file echoes contact any Hub or the originator of the file echo. See 
  23. % the list below for their network addresses.  You can also request 
  24. % information in the B_Sysop message echo.

  37. % The following format is used to describe each of the File Distribution
  38. % Echoes

  48. %         "Area"  - Used by RAID (thanks George!) and similar programs to
  49. %                   denote the beginning of an file area definition.
  50. %
  51. %         FileTag - Name of area that files will be sent under.  Similar
  52. %                   to an echomail areatag, but limited to 8 characters
  53. %                   or less.
  54. %
  55. %         Level   - Security level (0-4096) used to protect this area
  56. %
  57. %         Flags   - Access flags (see below) to control who's allowed to
  58. %                   feed, and what type of echo it is.
  59. %
  60. %         Desc    - FDN abbreviation followed by a description of the
  61. %                   area's contents.
  62. %
  63. % There are five types of access flags:
  64. %
  65. %     "!" - File distribution.  Areas marked with this flag are carried
  66. %           by the Net and can found at any Hub site (see below).
  67. %
  68. %     "." - Open distribution.  This flag is not currently used by BlueNet
  69. %           and is listed for informational purposes only.
  70. %
  71. %     "*" - Hatching is allowed by *any* node attached to the area.  This
  72. %           flag may be mixed with any of the others.  If an area does not
  73. %           contain this flag, then you may not hatch directly into it.  
  74. %           There will either be a "return channel" provided or you must 
  75. %           send your submission directly to the head of the file echo.
  76. %
  77. %     "&" - Do not send this area to any downlinks.  This flag usually
  78. %           indicates that an area is a "return channel" to be used
  79. %           for submitting files to a FDN head for distribution.  Be sure
  80. %           to remove it in your TIC.CFG for your uplink *only*.  This
  81. %           flag should only be used in conjunction with the "*" flag.

  84. % This format is based on the TIC and RAID programs.  Indeed, you can
  85. % directly use this file as part of your RAID config file.  For example, 
  86. % the following DOS command could be used to create your new RAID.CFG 
  87. % file from the BLUEBONE.NA file along with prefix and suffix files 
  88. % (RAID.BEG and RAID.END) containing your personal configuration 
  89. % information:
